125 Years of Bournemouth School
On Thursday, 22 January 2026, Bournemouth School will be celebrating its 125th anniversary.
We plan to honour of this historic occasion by arranging events to commemorate our rich heritage, celebrate our vibrant community, and pave the way for an even brighter future. We intend there to be a celebration for all who have been touched by the transformative power of education. Whether an alum, a past or current member of our dedicated staff, or a friend of our school, we invite you to contribute in commemorating this event and celebrating the enduring legacy of Bournemouth School.
Through this special anniversary page we hope to capture the essence of our school's 125-year journey. Please use the links below to view a brief history of Bournemouth School or register your interest in keeping abreast of, or contributing to, any events that are planned to mark the anniversary.
We also hope that alumni and staff will contribute to a “Faces of Bournemouth School over the Last 125 Years” project, the outcome of which will be published online (and possibly in hardcopy) to mark the anniversary. If you would like to contribute to this project, please complete the online form by clicking on the relevant links above. We will be delighted to receive your submission. We will need your photograph, either taken recently or from your time at the school (or both!), some details and answers to questions, a short biography and, of course, your permission to publish all of the material submitted. The closing date for submissions is 31 October 2025.
